ABOUT THE MISSION
For over 140 years, the Red Cross has been America’s premier emergency response organization, not only helping victims of war all over the world, but also assisting those affected by natural disaster. In addition to their disaster response they gather and donate blood, sponsor health and safety programs, and offer community services for the needy. With all that on their plate, they can use all the volunteers they can get, so spend a day helping your local chapter do whatever needs to be done.
